With much excitement and relief, my latest book, ‘Eat Your Brain Happy’ is now ready for pre-orders. This book explores the intricate relationship between what we eat, how our gut microbiome works and the impact on mental health.  It’s been a long time coming, but for good reason – this is a complex and emerging field and I needed to be sure I got it right! For over 3 years I have been reviewing the latest data, training in and implemening both personally and professionally the many ways in which we can eat our brain’s happy.

Eat Your Brain Happy explains this fascinating new field, known as Nutritional and Metabolic Psychiatry and provides many strategies for improving mental wellness through what we eat and how we live.  From neurochemical imbalance, brain inflammation and a lack of fuel supply to the brain, there are many consequences to the brain’s intricate balancing systems being off, which can lead to, or make worse, anxiety and depression. Much of this can be corrected with dietary and lifestyle changes.

This is an exploding new field, connecting physical health and mental health. Eat Your Brain Happy explains what is going on in your brain when your nutrition and gut health are not functioning optimally and what can be done about it from the comfort and safety of your home.

Fortunately, there are very many simple yet powerful dietary and lifestyle interventions that can literally improve how you brain works and subesquently, how you think and feel.

If you would like to pre-order Eat Your Brain Happy, please enter your details on the contact page of my website or email me stephanie AT health-in-hand DOT com The book will be available for purchase from Amazon, Apple Books and other booksellers in digital or print format from July.
